We’ve all been in the situation, or seen the scene in the movies, where the hot man walks in the room. Your heart stops, you suddenly can’t find words to say, or you might even blush as you talk to him because you can’t get over just how attractive he is.
While these butterflies are surely exhilarating at first, don’t let yourself get too consumed in the physical attraction. And don’t let your confidence dwindle!
Don’t doubt whether you are on his level or if he’s interested in you. Just be confident! Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re around an attractive man…
Don’t assume he’s great just because he’s great looking. It’s easy to get caught up in his good looks, but don’t overlook the type of person he is or what his values are. Good looks and good values don’t necessarily go hand in hand.
Learn to appreciate yourself. Confidence and real approval only come from within. If you feel triggered by an attractive man, it may cause some of your unconscious negative beliefs you have about yourself to surface. Feelings like you are unworthy or not good enough are feelings to work through and release, instead of allowing them to disempower you.
Remember that men are insecure too. Just because he’s attractive doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his own insecurities. People often assume good looking men are perfect. Don’t look at him as an object. Really see who he is and get to know him. Learn about his past and his challenges. Sometimes being good looking has challenges too you know.
You can never assume things about someone based on their looks. Be confident in who you are and get to know someone, attractive or not! Sometimes a guy you aren’t immediately physically attracted has such a way with words that you suddenly see him in a new, and sexier, light! Take chances!

I just wish things change. I’ve done everything I could do to be attractive to this one guy who is very attractive but he does not feel that way about himself… yet he is a strength to me most of the time…in the meantime I’ve done everything to help him know he is very attractive….I know I need to get on a dating platform… in meantime I’m an encouragement to other men in my community that I’m not interested in..
